Richie Braces are custom made AFO's designed to treat chronic  conditions of feet and lower extremities .        Drop Foot / Tarsal Coalition / Degenerative Arthritis / Sinus Tarsal Syndrome  Lateral Ankle Instability / Charcot Foot Deformity / Tibial Posterior Dysfunction  Peroneal Tendinopathy.      At the Orthotics Clinic we prescribed the full range of Richie Brace AFO's full  customised to every patients requirements .        Childrens Orthotics .   Are specialised foot insoles that are custom made in design to a childs feet . proper foot function is crucial to all children also it important as the bones in a childs  feet are soft and pliable and easily damaged by constricting shoes socks and bedding proper foot function and supportive footwear is essential.   The most common childrens foot conditions are   Toeing - Out.  Its an inherited condition rather than an abnormal position difficulty sometimes children  twist the tibia bone in their legs too far by sitting in w position or often over rotation in  the hip.     Toeing - In.  Usually when the unborn baby lies with feet pressed against womb the wrong way , it can be born with feet legs and hips turned inwards also abnormal sitting and sleeping positions.   Flat Feet . Babies naturally appear flat footed this usually goes as baby begins standing and walking. All of the above conditions are easily treated with custom orthotics.         Work Orthotics.   These orthotics are specialised to the needs and requirements work activities placed on the feet and body while working, these orthotics are suitable to wear in safety boots / workwear boots / wellingtons .
